Kreativ Blogger award

Hmm. Ok Kim nominated me for this a few weeks ago. The idea is that you have to list 7 things that people don't know about you and then you have to pass it on to 5 other people, so here it goes......

1. I HATE "do this and pass it on things" this includes text messages and emails. So I am very sorry to all of the people who send for example...."your my girl, pass this on to all your girls and back to me if I am one of your girls" This would explain why you never got your text or email back because it just makes me mad and I delete it.

2. There are 5 baskets of Laundry in my bedroom. I hate doing laundry. All of Aidens laundry gets done and put up in his room. But as for Shawn and I~ it pretty much hangs out in the laundry basket 'till we wear it again, I wash it and it sits in the laundry basket~ over and over. I have been working on this problem though.... LOL.

3. We have used the Beatles theme to name all of our dogs, thanks to Shawn. We have "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds". We had "Lennon" for those two days. Now we have "Abbey Road". Shawn has named all of them, but each time their name suits them to a "t".

4. I put Aidens candy up that he gets for Halloween, Christmas, or any other holiday. Then Shawn and I eat it later. Don't get me wrong Aiden still gets plenty of candy, but too much is not a good thing. So if your ever at my house, its in the orange bucket in the top of the cabinet! =)

5. When we were in high school. Kim and I planned to live in the same city, marry professional baseball players, and have sons the same age so they could play baseball together.....hmmm what ever happened?

6. I HAVE to watch the local news every night. This has been a "thing" of mine since I was young. However, it drives Shawn and Aiden crazy at night when we are watching TV, because they would much rather be watching something on the Speed Channel. But, because my husband loves me so much he usually gives in to me watching the news.

7. I have a Craigslist addiction. I have gotten several great deals off craigslist, but the problem is that I have an I- phone, so I am able to check it ALL THE TIME. It has become a little obsessive, but to get the great deals you have to check it all the time so your the first one to respond. LOL. That's what I tell Shawn, he just rolls his eyes.

and #8 just because~ I have the best husband and son in the world. I dont know what I would do with out either of them. My husband works out of town 4 days a week to provide Aiden and I a very comfortable life. I miss him very much during the week, but I know that he does it all for Aiden and I, and I love him more everyday for that.

So there are my 7 things about me...... now I don't know 5 other people with blogs so I'm just going to nominate, Jennifer H. and I will completely understand if she doesn't do this because this is one of those "do this and pass it on things" that I myself usually delete, but coming from Kim I had to do it or I would feel really bad. =)

A Rainy Easter.

This Easter it rained at our house, VERY disappointing. Easter morning we got up and went to church with my parents. After church we went and had a delicious breakfast and Easter Egg hunt indoors at Lolly and Pop's! I know its a little late but I thought I would share a few of the pictures that we took that morning!

Priceless....

One Older Model Dell computer $35 dollars on Craigslist......One Ikea Computer Desk New in Box $free on Craigslist............

One Black adjustable computer chair $10 on Craigslist......

Having your 3 year old OFF of YOUR computer and on his OWN..............PRICELESS!!!!!!!!!

Lucy also enjoys the computer when Aiden plays Clifford The Big Red Dog!

Abbey Road

"Lucy" In The Sky With Diamonds

"The Girls" Abbey on the left and Lucy on the right

As everyone probably knows we have an Old English Sheepdog named Lucy (in the sky with diamonds). Well we have a new addition to our family, another Old English Sheepdog, that we have named Abbey Road. We have had her for a couple of weeks but I was trying to make sure she was going to work out in our family before I introduced her to everyone! (Especially after Lennon, the dog we adopted that bit Aiden) Abbey Road came from a Lady in Lawton Oklahoma. She looks A LOT like our Lucy, however she has blue eyes instead of brown like Lucy. She is a very sweet dog. I believe she will be a great part of our family. She sort of levels out Lucy. Lucy is our "Worry Wart" dog and Abbey is content with whatever is going on. We have had a few "bumps in the road" with Abbey but I feel like everything will work out. She has some hip problems that we were not informed of when I went to get her. However she is not in any pain or discomfort as of right now. So we will manage it if anything new arises. She does have a funny hair style right now, I think her former owner did not know a lot about OES and so she has her hair cut like a poodle! Hopefully its will grow out soon enough. Lucy's body is cut short right now too for the summer, however we leave her hair long around her face. So now we have "The Girls" as I like to call them! =)

Life.

This last week has been crazy around our house. For those who didn't know we adopted a new dog last week. Another Old English Sheepdog. We had him for two days and loved him it was so much fun with two OES around our house. Then Sat morning Aiden had just gotten up and startled Lennon while he was chewing on a bone and Lennon bit him on the face. I am not making excuses for the dog because there are none, but the dog was just a scared as Aiden and I. Shawn had the dog gone and to the pound, before my mom and I even left for the ER. Aiden didn't really like the nurses cleaning his face up and it was pretty sad. They had to glue two small places on his cheek. After everything was done and we left and came home, Aiden wanted to know when Lennon was coming home. Its pretty hard explaining to a 3 year old that his new dog is not coming home. We just had to tell him that he cant come home because he was not being a very nice dog. Hopefully he will forget about him soon......Other than that Aiden is fine. His face is healing very well. He doesn't like me putting the cream on it so I do that at night and in the morning while he is sleeping. Its a good thing he is such a deep sleeper! I will try to keep everyone posted a little better than I have been its just been pretty crazy. Keep his little face in your prayers, he's a little self conscious about it.
